How to remove your make up?
While many women prefer to skip this important part of their daily skin-care regime, removing your makeup before you go to bed is important to keep your skin clean and healthy-looking, let your skin “breathe” while you sleep.
- Choose a Good Face Cleanser: Dr. Vidula Patel says “Use a soap free cleanser which does not have an alkali base, this ensures that the cleanser is not too harsh on the skin and doesn’t rob your skin’s moisture.” She recommends using cleansing milks as they are gentle on the skin.
- Tone: You may choose to tone your skin after you clean it to close the pores that would have opened while you cleaned your face.
- Moisturize: Even if you skip the toning routine, do not skip the moisturizing part. Make sure you moisturize your skin thoroughly after you are done with cleaning so that your face doesn’t lose all its moisture.
