How to take care of your senior parents?
Aged parents need all the attention and it is our responsibility to provide them with. This is the time when you can show all your love and support for them and show how thankful you are to them. Given below is how you can care for your aged parents.
- Lack of physical activity
With most of our parents approaching their retirement ages or having retired already, you must have noticed that simultaneously they have also reduced their physical activities. If you find your parents slacking about and not getting enough physical activity do make sure that they go for a leisurely walk or Exercise a bit.
- Undue Stress
Experts point out that elderly people’s brain are tuned differently to stress and cannot handle it like others, which results in them being cranky and short tempered most of the times. This behavior furthers their risk of falling prey to a heart attack, stroke or hypertension.
Making your parents take a yoga class or practice meditation is a good way of getting their stress levels under control and it will also keep them calm.
