What can be the best nutritional food for babies?

Mother’s milk is the best food for baby till 4th month. After four months, it your responsibility to introduce your baby to various food groups which will help him to grow stronger and healthier. Following is the list of healthy foods:

Nachni Kheer: Finger Millet or Nachni cereal is easily available in Indian markets and is the best baby food. Nachni is great source of protein and is also rich in calcium and iron as compared to other cereals. Because of its high nutritional value, nachni kheer is the first food which is given to baby after 4 months.

Moong Dal and Rice Phej: Moong dal and rice are very easy to find ingredient in Indian kitchen. To make moong dal and rice phej, you need to roast moong dal and rice on pan and then grind them together to make a fine powder. The ratio to make this mixture is half cup of moong dal to one cup of rice. You can prepare this flour and keep it for days together and use it whenever needed.

Dry fruit Milk: Cow’s milk is the best milk for babies as a second option after mother’s milk. You can make the milk more nutritious by adding dry fruit powder. To make this powder, take few almonds, dry dates, pistas which are very good sources of minerals and vitamins. It helps to induce very good sleep to your baby.
