How to feed your baby?

The first thing that goes into the baby’s mouth, is mother’s milk and this has to continued, as per doctors, until 4 to 6 months as all the essential nutrients are present in mother’s milk. Later as the baby prepares for other liquid foods, cereals can begin. Keep the portions to a minimum initially and increase it slowly thereafter, for instance, initially a single baby sized portion of cereal can gradually be increased to about two spoons per feeding.

Keep the cereal as liquid as possible, for 1 tblsp of cereal, add triple the amount of either breast milk or regular milk so as to help in easy digestion. Don’t store the uneaten cereal mix.
